Dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, Prabowo arrived at the airbase around 3:15 PM Western Indonesia Time and was bid farewell by high-ranking officials for his official state visit. Accompanying him were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other key figures from Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Before boarding the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM, President Prabowo took a moment to observe military cadets rehearsing a marching band performance at the airbase with Defense Minister Sjafrie. The main purpose of his visit to Saudi Arabia is to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries, specifically pertaining to the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and exploring potential strategic partnerships. Through this visit, President Prabowo intends to strengthen the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, promoting mutual understanding and collaboration for the benefit of both nations.
